Cambridge Pet Travel is now part of Kimbolton Vets
We are no longer offering home visit AHC appointments but are pleased to be able to offer AHC appointments at our new practice on Kimbolton High Street.
A single AHC costs £185 with additional pets added for £50.
About AHCs
Animal Health Certificates have replaced Pet Passports for travel between Great Britain and the EU.
To take your dog, cat or ferret with you on your travels you must have a valid Animal Health Certificate, issued by an Official Veterinarian, within 10 days of your departure date.
AHC Requirements
In order for us to issue an AHC for your pet they must:
Be microchipped
Have been vaccinated for rabies at least 21 days before travel. If this is a booster vaccination that is completed on time then you do not need to wait 21 days.
Have a valid vaccine certificate including confirmation that their microship was scanned at the time of the vaccination.
We can assist with all of these steps and encourage you to get in touch well in advance of your pet’s proposed travel date. Where travel is imminent and the above steps have been completed we will try and accommodate an urgent appointment for the provision of an AHC.
